Breaking News... Matt Holliday Off To St. Louis
Various reports saying that Matt Holliday has been dealt to the St. Louis Cardinals for three prospects. This obviously gives St. Louis a leg up in winning the NL Central assuming Matt Holliday can pick up his hitting a bit, and he has been hitting better as of late. Big move for the Cards, and it makes me wonder if my Cubs will make a move to counter this one, if they don't the Cards could run away with the division. - SF 58

I'm a little surprised this happened as soon as it did considering we're a week away from the deadline. I think the A's could have gotten more if they held out longer. I'll be curious to see if they #1 can unload Cabrera, and/or #2 get the same amount of players that they got for Holliday.
